SUCCESS!! πΎπ₯πππ Social Media posts are now 100% automated
10 minutes until I know if my Cron-based Social Media trip-poster is 100% automated. The suspense π°
Posted another trip on all Social Media
Another trip posted manually, automation is almost complete.
150 USERS!!!!!! πΎπ₯ππ JUST HIT 100 NOT LONG AGO π
A new user has been coming back for 3 days in a row adding more and more trips, I think he's booking them, and is using Venture Cost as his travel planner π This is some special kind of joy... Here's his profile: https://venturecost.com/@gamalielosegie
Added 8 cities
Progress with Social Media post script: Loads the trip of the day from a list (Shifts daily), loads custom captions, renders the trips picture and posts it to Instagram & Facebook. Tomorrow I'll finish Twitter and try it out for real!
Added pictures for all of these, so easy with the new Admin tool π
Slow day, but! The Social Media auto-poster is getting better and better. It's rendering the Trip, grabbing the custom made caption and I even made a hack for Instagram to upload through Python. The only issue is that, this will only be posted in Instagram and.... sadly Instagram's quality sucks so I'll have to post it on each Social Media separately to maintain perfect quality
Made ratings of a trip show up, even if it's not approved by an Admin yet
Updated & uploaded the new fancy Admin panel with analytics and minor fixes
Got tired of opening Google Analytics and other stats separately, so I put them all together in the Admin Panel. One click to check them all π
Added Montego Bay, Jamaica
Adds leading number to users who sign up with an existing username, Added the functionality to Facebook but forgot Twitter login π
Fixed a bug with city searches refusing to display cities shorter than 3 characters
Added Gdansk, Denmark
Added Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt
Added Nashville, TN
Added Shanghai, China
Added Istanbul, Turkey
Added Vienna, Austria
Had my first very disappointed user π I was wondering how long it would take

Yup definitely! That's how I took it. Moving up those pages a bit since people actually check them now apparently π
