Modern way of multilingual development

More improvements of our marketing tool for

Even if it's an internal tool, it's extremely important to make it efficient, so it actually supports your business the right way.

Finished a small administrative tool for

Today, I put together a small administrative tool to search users, projects & organizations and to do some essential operations. It will improve and speed up our customer support.

It's no technical miracle - Kotlin/Javalin serving static Bootstrap forms rendered by Freemarker, and the whole thing is packed as a Docker container. But it was really a matter of just a few hours to get it glued together. Most of the time, I wrote SQL queries for obtaining projects across users, organizations & teams, and stuff like this.

Added several events to be sent to Slack

Finished tests and last improvements of next big backend release

It adds a lot of improvements for managing files, tagging localization, CDN, format support, batch operations, etc.

It's going to be a simple way to deliver localizable files worldwide!

Introduced a lot of improvement to

Today, I worked on many improvements to make Localazy better for our customers - mostly improved support for PO/POT, RESX and XLIFF formats, and ICU message format.

More money from our VC on the way?

Our VC is happy with our progress and would like to speed up the growth by providing us with additional money faster than initially negotiated.

Good sign that we are doing great?

Finished a huge DB migration

Sometimes, to introduce new features or fix issues, it's necessary to migrate the current database schema to the new one. I wouldn't say I like it. I'm always scared :-). Of course, there are backups and replicas, but you know... that weird feeling is still here. Do you know it?
