Decided to highlight a few new things:
• indie solopreneur - this seems to becoming more common, less cringey
• diverse portfolio of products & services - a better reflection of my work, which I'm increasingly starting to share
• $5k/m - my goal for ramen profitability. $5000 monthly revenue overall (recurring and one-time). This had always been my goal, but I stopped it thinking setting a smaller target would help motivation. I don't need that now.
• Showing my top 3 products which I want to share with Twitter audience. Left out services like Outsprint because that's for LinkedIn
• Here to make friends. DMs open. - to better reflect why I'm on Twitter! It's true!
Only thing left to update - my progress bar metric. MRR no longer makes sense. Maybe it should be $5k/m? Or annual revenue?

🚧🚧🚧 ENTIRE PLATFORM CRASHED - Had to update Google Scripts web app URL for all 26 users
Somehow the old Google Scripts web app stopped working and gives an error message "Authorization required to use this script".
Had to manually go into each subfolder to edit! Time to automate this shit

Figured out how to deploy a separate site from a subdirectory in my sheet2bio github repo, which means I can then set up a custom domain for that netlify.app site, which THEREFORE means I can offer custom domains for Sheet2Bio customers!
Removed stray : in og:image for all accounts - individually changing each repo was paaaaainful

Changed Pricing to one-time payment $50 for perpetual use, with future updates at $10 one-time payment each time
Why one-time payment?
Capitalize on the notion of an impulse buy. $50 for perpetual use is pretty affordable (I guess). Besides, paying yet another subscription for a site that just sits there most of the time had always felt dissonant even to myself (why would I pay $5 every month for that?). So one-time feels more palatable. One-time payment with no future updates also mean less tech burden on my part. I can quite literally set and forget (unless there's bug or issues with their current version of Sheet2Bio of course).
Will see how this unfolds and iterate accordingly!

just a note on the upgrade - it makes me think i have to pay $20 per update. What if Jason decides to update 3 times a year? do i have to pay $60 for all 3 new features?
it's a different model for sure, not one i've come across before 😄 can't advise on lower price, only way to find out is to try! i might pay if it's a feature i really really REALLY want
