More improvements of our marketing tool for
Even if it's an internal tool, it's extremely important to make it efficient, so it actually supports your business the right way.
Made a lot of improvements to our small content marketing coordination tool
Do you use content marketing? How do you control where, when, what, who is about to share, reshare, post, comment, etc.?

Finished a small administrative tool for
Today, I put together a small administrative tool to search users, projects & organizations and to do some essential operations. It will improve and speed up our customer support.
It's no technical miracle - Kotlin/Javalin serving static Bootstrap forms rendered by Freemarker, and the whole thing is packed as a Docker container. But it was really a matter of just a few hours to get it glued together. Most of the time, I wrote SQL queries for obtaining projects across users, organizations & teams, and stuff like this.

Inbox zero!
For several days, I was under pressure with too much things happening. Now, I finally resolved the last email in my inbox. Happy!
When you think the code is ready, count with one more day :-)
The last night, I was sure everything is done and ready to be push to production. Today, it took me several hours to get it up and running on testing server :-).
Finished tests and last improvements of next big backend release

Introduced a lot of improvement to
Today, I worked on many improvements to make Localazy better for our customers - mostly improved support for PO/POT, RESX and XLIFF formats, and ICU message format.
But it's not the kind of progress I would like to see. It's improving Localazy without visible added value. You know, it's not fun :-).

A day with code
Over the few last days, I mostly worked on sales, business administration and things related to it. Today, I finally find some spare time to do some improvements of the Localazy backend.
Postponed a few tasks
For a couple of last days, I worked too much and not slept long enough. I already feel that it's affecting my mood significantly. It also affects my productivity.
On top of it, the very long list of tasks made me feel even worse.
Instead of picking another one, I thought for a while. I'm unable to do all of them today anyway, so I split them into logical groups and reschedule them over the next three days.
It looks more realistic now, and my mood is already getting better.
I feel that I can do all the work today and have a few spare minutes to work on more strategic things.
